Wild Woman Therapy
While Wild Woman Therapy, led by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Dana Marie Nielsen, primarily offers integrative somatic psychotherapy for women throughout California, including San Francisco, Dana has deep roots in the San Francisco therapeutic community. She received her M.A. in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Somatics from the California Institute of Integral Studies. Her formal training took place at the Center for Somatic Psychotherapy and the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy, both trauma-focused counseling centers in San Francisco. Dana has also supported youth in Bay Area schools and co-facilitated a surf therapy program for grief during the pandemic, which was featured by National Geographic. She continues to offer virtual therapy sessions to clients in San Francisco and throughout California.
